Yatinder Kumar Portrait
Fifteen years photographing luxury hospitality, across India and the wider Asia & Middle East region.
It started with a single shoot for Oberoi Hotels & Resorts. Since then, the client list has grown to include IHCL, ITC, Marriott, Radisson, Hilton, and Accor list goes on— alongside independent boutique properties. The work has taken me from heritage palaces in Rajasthan to beachfront resorts in Southeast Asia and the Middle East.
Beyond hotels, I work with real estate developers, architects, and design agencies — photographing the spaces they build with the same eye I bring to hospitality: light, mood, and the feeling a space gives before a word is said about it.
The work has evolved with the industry. Hospitality today competes on experience, not just amenities — and the imagery has to do the same. I've moved from documenting a property to capturing what it feels like to be a guest there: the moment that makes someone book, and the one they remember after they've left. That's the brief I bring to every shoot now.
